Family re union AKA -
The bash
We live just outside the greater
metropolitan Detroit area,
in a rural big old country home. Last summer we hosted our
annual family re union. Those photos probably would have
gone into a shoebox and hardly ever been looked at. Instead,
we got a captivating memories DVD professional DVD slide
show. Weeks later, everyone received a copy. It was a
beautiful summer day, and captured perfectly. We highly
recommend the "outtakes" this really enhanced the DVD, which
was choreographed to the music we selected perfectly. A
senior family member did a voice over of the history of
these reunions to the old original pictures over 75 years
old that went through the restoration process, and go back
four generations. I get goose bumps watching. What is so
amazing is that the younger kids will now know the history,
and keep this tradition going. Family is so important these
days. We laugh and cry but never get tired of watching it. I
tried to do this once on my computer myself, but after many
wasted hours, it was well worth it to let family based
professionals captivate our family keepsake.

My
name is Frank, and I was born in Illinois near the Chicago
area.
When
I was young, my father had a job that required us to move to
many different states (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, New York and New England areas to name a few.
I went to many schools, had many friends, etc. I graduated
college and went into teaching, got my first job, first car,
and got married and we had three children who are in their
30’s now. As we looked back at our old photo albums one day
I decided to collect the best of the best and put them into
one album. We recently went to a memorial service for an old
friend and they had a DVD playing all those old photos
during “life’s moments”, it really moved us.
My point is
I started looking into having this done for us now, why
wait? We contacted several slide show makers, but
Captivating Memories sent us a free DVD sample .
Once
we saw how professional it looked on our TV, we were sold
and they were excellent to work with.
We bought the Platinum package,
and it was completed in 10 days.
Some of the older photos needed restoration and they now
look great. I also bought 5 copies to send to my sister who
lives out of state, and our kids.

Our Wedding Photos
We received our DVD slide show as a
surprise gift from a couple who attended our wedding and
shipped the gift by overnight express with two copies. It
was a total surprise, and we have watched it many times
since on our wide screen TV. The full show has three
chapters, with over 200 pictures of the shower, wedding and
funny out takes. The quality and timing is impeccable. We
extend our gratitude to "Captivating Memories" for paying
such close attention to details.

I
like the slogan " If you have the pictures we can
captivate the memories." Because that
is exactly what you did.
Our family trip
photo slide show looks
superb and I like the music without words, very tropical
feel. The puzzle effect at the
end was neat too. I also really enjoy the She's all That
slide show, you definitely hit the timing
right on the pictures to music,
like; now and then she's moody, picture
in my wallet, the glass of wine, rocking chair, lay
down for your life....for a few
examples. At the end it would nice if the last slide
stayed on and on, perhaps I will have
one looped next time. Love the pan & zoom.
